Motor Thermocouple information (in order of connection at measuring equipment):

  1. Top Main Lead End
  2. Top Main Opposite Lead End
  3. Top Aux Lead End
  4. Top Aux Opposite Lead End
  5. Frame
  6. Ambient

Motor fixture details:

  1. Motor oriented with thermal protector oriented on the bottom.
  2. Clamped to testing surface using Unistrut. Move capacitor if applicable.
  3. Rotor locked.
  4. Cover in single layer of surgical cotton over motor clamp.

Measurement details:

  1. Current clamp installed on hot leg, using a pig tail from fusable enclosure.
  2. Voltage meter leads installed securely.
  3. Fused on hot leg.
